Welcome to Laguna Madre Anglers Blog, I just revamped my website last month so i hope you will find it easier to brows the site and make reservation for trips, you can always call me a 361-549-7381. The fishing is starting to heat up, the weather has been good except for the howling winds, but if you plan accordingly, its been good. There have been some really nice fish caught while wading early throwing top water baits and then as the morning progress we have been switching to soft plastics. I have been throwing a gambler paddle tail in the key lime and some Down South lures as well. The water temprature has been around 70 to 77 degrees, so i quit using my waders and just use my wading pants for the jelly fish have shown up. We have been catching some nice trout in the land cut and Baffin Bay, along with some nice red fish, as always, if you can find the bait or some good slicks, stop and fish, there will be a good bite, just be patient. as always be safe on the water, Captain Mitch Deane
